A little update first:
1. I went to the opening night showing at eight and was first in line. Very fun, I met a few really great people.
2. I am also going to get that reaction blog up here, but it's really difficult because frankly this movie hasn't really sunk in. I mean, I woke up Friday morning and wasn't even sure if I had saw it.
3. Seriously, seriously and seriously, the podcast IS coming school. But as some know final exams for school are upon us and it’s difficult to get more than an hour to ourselves at this time.
Okay, now for what I'm here to rant about. I've heard this from a lot and I want to ask if anyone else is having the same problem…

Now, when you watched the movie (At World’s End if anyone honestly doesn’t know) did anyone else get deeply upset with the way it turned out? It’s been four days and I’m still crying over it.
For anyone who was confused by the ending scene after the credits, basically it means that the curse was broken because Elizabeth remained faithful to Will and returned to that beach/cliff where he left her. By her being there after ten years, she broke the curse, and Will is free. So it was a happy ending, but I was still very tearful after the last half hour of the fight, death, and island scene.
After the movie, I immediately began writing a few fanfictions (I will post them for anyone that interested) and I also read some that had already been posted. A few that had me in tears once more were the following which followed the story if Elizabeth was only to see Will once every ten years for the rest of her life.

Please review, all authors have somewhat to very large egos and they’re hungry for reviews. We NEED them to survive. (Sort of how we need pirates) These are all FANTASTIC stories and especially if you want a good tear.
I’ve heard from a lot of others that this was the same way they felt. A friend and I were joking the other day and saying that we should start a support group for people who have cried for days over this movie, and after a few moments and even more bounced ideas, we were in tears planning this “club”. Anyone else interested? Because if there is a large interest I’ll seriously start a support group.
Just to state it blatantly, this is the last pirates movie. We will have no more of our favorite trio in the best trilogy on the seas…in the universe for that matter. I’m still very heartbroken over it all even if it was a bit happy in the very end. (Again speaking of the scene after the credits)
So drink up me hearties yoho. (Not literally, of course) But enjoy the success of the last pirates film for a while. It’s been one wild ride but it can only get better! If it means crying over our favorite couple, at lease we can do it together! And hopefully Johnny Depp can push Disney to make a few more hits. :D
